CUSBMA

CUSBMA is Christ university school of business and management association, an association of the BBA Department that primarily conducts business fests for the department, intra department and external as well. 

Along with this, we do manage 8 clubs, namely, Analytics, Communicat, HRM, Finance, Marketing, SMPR, Entrepreneurship Development, and MDQ. These clubs conduct club activities for the 2nd and 1st years on Saturdays, where students are given practical tasks and assignments in their respective domains (chosen clubs)

As a club head, I had to oversee the functioning of these clubs and business fests, communicate with the faculty coordinators, HOD, management, and the student body. Being a head gave me immense exposure to understanding the functioning of an event. The backend as well as the front end. It was a mixture of event management and business studies. 

Whatever I learned in the classroom was applied to my workings.
From learning business communication to applying it while conversing with high profile individuals, the classroom knowledge of marketing to applying the principles in strategically promoting any upcoming event. Usage of human resource knowledge in handling the student body, understanding their needs and feedback, working on it, forming teams every now and then, and managing everyone of them.

Using analytics to streamline the progress and student records with Excel to actually manage the business and finance of the event, it was a complete theoretical to practical experience.

As the university's social media coordinator, one of my duties is to oversee the institution's official accounts on social media sites like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other websites. I work to create and put into action a thorough social media strategy that is in line with the overall goals and objectives of the university's communications.

Student Welfare Office (SWO)

In my first year, I volunteered on stage at the Christ University Student Welfare Office on the Lavasa Campus. I had the honor of working with experts in this field, and during my first year, I participated actively. I developed a strong sense of teamwork and successfully orchestrated events by learning how to help and work together on various tasks that were assigned to my team and me.

I was a member of the SWO Theatre Committee in addition to it. We frequently performed plays and nukkad natak throughout the Lavasa Campus.

In my second year, I took part in the University Dance Team for the Flagship event Nritte'24 in addition to theater. We gave three performances in Bangalore (Central Campus), Pune, and Lavasa.
For the entire three years, I participated in practically every event (specifically, Blossoms and Darpan).
Along with Darpan, I boasted about holding the top spot at Blossoms Theatre in 2022. 

My involvement in dance, theater, and stage teams instilled a strong sense of discipline and values related to working in teams and being a great team player. It improved my acting and dancing abilities and taught me how to manage my time and myself.
