AI generalist

Build useful AI workflows, ship them and learn to get them in front of people.

This path is for people who want to ship with AI

Who can use this feature?

To follow the full path, you need both:

  • An active GrowthX membership
  • Build Sprint access

Check your membership and Build Sprint access.

This path is for people who want to go from consuming AI tools to shipping with them. You might work in operations, marketing, product or anything in between, and you want AI to do real work for you and your company.

You do not need to know how to code. You will still make decisions, try things and work through problems yourself.

The path is built around building:

  • hands-on workshops
  • Build Sprint
  • showcasing what you ship

The courses support that work. AI Skills 2026: Generalists is the starting point. Advanced Growth Strategy and Growth Model Design help you pick problems worth solving and get what you build to users.

What you need: Advanced Growth Strategy, the longer courses and Elevate are part of GrowthX membership. Events list their own access rules on each event page.

Learn by building at events

Go to Events and open the AI tab. Use the Virtual tab for online sessions. These are the formats to look for:

  • Hands-on AI workshops: a guided build of one thing, such as an agent, an n8n workflow or a portfolio site. Some are written for non-engineers, such as setting up Claude Code without an engineering background.
  • Beginner-friendly buildathons: some one-day buildathons say you do not need to have written code, such as building an app on Lovable or a browser game from prompts.
  • Showcases: watch builders demo real workflows live.
  • Online AI learning sessions: talks and live builds you can join from anywhere.

Open an event and choose Register. Some events need host approval. Until the host responds, the event shows Pending Approval.

Ship with Build Sprint and show your work

Build Sprint is GrowthX's current live building programme. You build and sell an AI product on your own, using AI coding tools. You lock one problem, ship it live, get real users and try to sell it. No coding experience is required. See Build Sprint for how it works and what you need.

Built at GrowthX at built.growthx.club lists products built by the GrowthX community, ranked by the people who build. Browse it to see what the community has shipped.

Once you have built something, Build Proof of Work in Elevate helps you package it and ends with a chapter on distributing what you have built.

Build your AI and growth foundations

  1. AI Skills 2026: Generalists: make your company run itself with AI. It covers the three core skills, AI product thinking and redesigning your role.
  2. Add the AI Skills 2026 track for your function: Product, Marketing or Engineer.
  3. Advanced Growth Strategy: GrowthX's flagship growth course. Start with Acquisition and Onboarding, so what you build reaches users and they get value from it.
  4. Growth Model Design: break a metric into input levers. This helps you choose which problem an AI workflow should solve.

If you want to move into an AI product role, the AI Product Manager guide in Elevate covers the role and what AI PM interviews look for.

Watch these AI deep dives

Deep dives are recorded sessions. These are practical, low-code builds you can follow:

Follow along and build your own version of each for a task you do every week.

Your first two weeks

Week 1: set up and build one thing

  1. Take AI Skills 2026: Generalists.
  2. Watch A Non-Engineer's Claude Code Setup and set up your tools.
  3. Follow Claude 101: Ship your portfolio site in 1 hour and ship it.

Week 2: build in a room

  1. Open the AI tab on Events and register for a hands-on workshop or a beginner-friendly buildathon.
  2. Pick one repetitive task at work and build a small workflow for it.
  3. Browse Built at GrowthX for ideas.
